Hi. Thanks for giving ideas. But your procedure is inadequate. You should try using a zerowater filter, us it out in it's tolerance 006ppm. Then regenerate it as you show and obtain the same endurance as when used first. My guess is that you get 25% using your method. Prove me wrong, or show a more adequate method. When cleaning resin include the total amount of time used, and amount of cleaning water. Use a full filter amount of resin and not just a fraction. Good luck.

Can we add H2O2 to decompose the organic additives and then distill the hydrogen peroxide and water at 150C? This way, we do not have to go to 350C to distill the acid itself. Please advise.

What if you mixed the isopropyl nitrite with another sodium salt like chloride? Could that preform the ion swap and let the sodium nitrite precipitate out? Im also an amature chemist trying to figure this out haha

Instead of sodium hypochlorite, why not use calcium hypochlorite?

If you gently take a latex-free eraser you can shine that coin and get rid of that pink copper look and restore more of the natural copper look. You just have to be super gentle and I don't recommend doing it to any coin that's valuable or truly collectible

Man, I missed this channel. Is it possible that running the distillation slightly slower could have a positive effect on yield? Also, could you figure out an average time @ specific temp to use as a guide of when to stop the distillation instead of opening the system?

Distill our HBr and HI acids under reduced pressure and under yellow light. Make as needed and use immediatly, if you must store them for any time purge the bottle with nitrogen or argon and in a fridge. ❤

I got my hands on one, and was sitting there pondering my supply of potassium chloride and thought my "hydrogen water generator" might better serve me as a chlorate cell...any thoughts?

A wayward thought... aerosolized hydrogen peroxide is suspected to cause SO3 formation in the environment. I'm not sure what method would be best for aerosolizing H2O2, but there are peroxide fogging machines for sale (not sure how they're different from water foggers); I wonder whether one of those cheap atomization discs might work. Also, the logistics of combining gases might be an issue. In my experience, the vapor from those atomizers tend to be cold and fall, so perhaps just introducing concentrated peroxide vapor from somewhere above the distilling flask would help, especially at the later stage, when more water begins to form in the distilling flask, anyway.

If they could get 1 amp, from each battery at 4 volts this type of cell could be combined to make a 48v battery with 12 cells pushing out 12 amps x this by 100 and you have a very impresive power source. More than enough to charge a larger battery for however long each cell lasts, put everything in a clear packaging allowing it to absorb natural light and you have a solar panel that generates power all night and more during the day. It is just getting it up to 1 amp which means experimenting with solar panel used and size.
